Caban is a renewable energy company dedicated to helping organizations decarbonize their infrastructure through innovative solar and battery storage solutions. Founded with a mission to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy, Caban partners with customers to build resilient infrastructure that meets the challenges of a changing climate.
“We deliver energy to our customers through a combination of power generation from renewable energy and energy storage – for all critical infrastructure,” says Caban CEO and founder Alexandra Rasch.

The company’s solar-powered, battery-backed systems are available through an Energy-as-a-Service model, enabling companies to reduce energy bills and decarbonize their power supplies without upfront costs. Caban’s turnkey, end-to-end offering means customers are working with a single, trusted partner who is equally focused on delivering the energy transition.
Founded in 2018 and based in Miami, Florida, Caban set out to tackle the challenge of decarbonizing some of the most fossil fuel-dependent industries. Initially focused on providing alternative energy solutions for the telecommunications industry in the Americas, the company has since scaled globally and expanded its reach to support clean energy needs across critical infrastructure sectors worldwide. The company now has offices in Miami, Bogota, Jamaica, and Guatemala.
Caban’s operations span 14 countries, where customer infrastructure is maintained locally through the Network Operations Center (NOC), a cloud-based energy management system. The NOC optimizes energy consumption and costs, provides real-time data monitoring and maintenance scheduling, and generates automated sustainability reporting.
“Caban is found everywhere where there’s a power need for essential infrastructure,” says Caban President Ryan Bisch.

Indeed, Caban systems are playing a vital role in bolstering resilience in challenging operating conditions. This was demonstrated in late October 2025, when Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica, unleashing winds that exceeded 185mph, causing widespread damage across the island.
Thanks to their robust lithium-ion batteries, reinforced enclosures, advanced thermal management, hybrid energy controllers, and remote supervision 24/7 via the Network Operations Center (NOC), more than 75% of the deployed sites remained operational, demonstrating the system’s ability to withstand severe weather events.
Caban’s mission is to simplify the decarbonization journey for its customers, enabling them to meet sustainability goals. Here, the company aligns with SDG 7, which aims to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all.
The company takes pride in its deployment of green technology – now across some 2,000+ sites – and an operational model that makes electricity more affordable and contributes to local economies.
“It’s a rare opportunity to be able to do something that lowers costs and increases profitability for clients, yet at the same time makes the world a better place,” says Caban Chief Operating Officer Allen Pitts.
Caban has supplied more than 2.1 million kWh of clean energy – generated through its proprietary solar and lithium-ion battery storage – to its customers worldwide.
