Witnessing World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development 2026

Objective

The IGEN SDG Reel Competition aims to create awareness about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly among the youth community, and encourage them to creatively present their innovative thought process in communicating the 17 Global Goals. Participants are invited to present all 17 SDGs through a short video reel, demonstrating their understanding, creativity, and commitment toward sustainable development.

Entries can be submitted in two categories: 🎥 Below 1 Minute Category , 🎥 Below 2 Minutes Category

Through these short and creative digital stories, participants are encouraged to showcase their perspectives on sustainability and highlight the importance of collective action in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This competition is organized as part of activities witnessing World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development, emphasizing the important role of engineering, innovation, and youth leadership in achieving the SDGs.

🎤 How to Participate

1️Create a Mind Map summarizing all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

2️ Present and explain all 17 SDGs within 1 minute or 2 minutes, depending on the category you choose.

3️ Record your presentation as a short video (Reel format).
Your presentation can include: Voice narration, Visual presentation, Creative storytelling, Infographics or drawings, Any innovative method representing all 17 SDGs.

4️Upload the video on your Instagram account and add the official hashtag #igenSDGreel and tag igen insta@igengreenminds

5️Also upload the video in the IGEN TALK4SDG LinkedIn Group with a short write-up describing your SDG message.

6️Submit your participation details through the certificate submission link https://forms.gle/gyAeuQHvsdXQHCWVA

7️ Submission Deadline: 📅 30^th March 2026

Outstanding participants will be recognized by The Institution of Green Engineers (IGEN) with:

🌱 WFEO indexed Certificate of Participation and Successful participants will be elevated as Ambassadors for the #igenTalk4SDG initiative

🌱 Best Reel Award and Best View Reel Award

🌱 Additional recognition for reels achieving the highest views within one month

🌱 Best of the Best Reel will be recommended for recognition and communication with WFEO and UNDESA aligned sustainability initiatives
