Powering progress
Flowers’ expertise in software development and battery storage systems enable those it works with to reap the benefits of clean energy, anticipate energy consumption, and stabilize supply and costs.
For example, in 2023, Flower applied its optimization platform to a battery park in the small industrial town of Grums, Sweden. The following year, the battery system proved to be instrumental in stabilizing the national grid when a nuclear plant in Forsmark was temporarily taken out of operation. As a result, the episode passed without widescale impact and cost.
On a consumer-facing level, the Flower Hub is a smart home-energy-management device that connects to domestic battery systems. It offers homeowners control and flexibility over their energy service, and has the potential to generate income while supporting clean electric power across Sweden.
