The "2025 World Engineering Day Taizhou Main Event" took place at Taizhou Vocational and Technical College in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, on March 4, organized by the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP), the Taizhou Association for Science and Technology, and the Taizhou Engineer Association.
Over 150 experts and engineers from various sectors gathered to celebrate World Engineering Day, focusing on the theme "Engineering – Shaping Our Sustainable Future".
Wang Qinglin, chairman of the FEIAP's Standing Committee on Emerging Technologies for Professional Development, emphasized the importance of regional collaboration in engineering and technology governance. He expressed a commitment to sharing achievements and promoting mutual development with engineers and technologists in Taizhou.
Professor Yan Wenjun at Zhejiang University highlighted the integration of intelligent technology into Taizhou's manufacturing sector through collaboration among technology firms, research institutions, and universities. By leveraging artificial intelligence for analysis and optimization, advancements in sustainable engineering practices were discussed.
