The book, Engineering and Engineering Education, written by academician ZHU Gaofeng, is composed based on systematic research on engineering and engineering education and discusses the theories and disciplines on engineering, making great contributions to constructing the basic framework on engineering education. In addition, in order to review the process and trends of international engineering education, the working group has categorized and compiled research outcomes in recent years and composed the series of books on international engineering education.

In order to celebrate the 2023 World Engineering Day, further discuss development of the engineering education discipline and promote the reform and development of engineering education, ICEE (UNESCO International Centre of Engineering Education), supported by the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Tsinghua University, will organize a symposium on the 2023 World Engineering day.
